Senior Oracle SOA Developer

 

A client of AHC-Staffing is seeking a self motivated, fast paced Senior Oracle SOA Developer for a contract position to work in a dynamic team that has started a new set of projects with high visibility, at Miami Florida corporate location.   The Data Hub Phase II project will establish a central database repository and services to integrate our clients  new customer/supplier portals with Oracle Financials leveraging the Oracle ADF and SOA technologies. The Inventory and Derivates project will establish a Trading and Risk Management solution by integrating Triple Point's eTRM with Oracle Financials and external Financial data providers. You must have in-depth experience with the Oracle SOA Suite, JDeveloper and preferably a strong BEA WebLogic, Java/J2EE and Oracle SQL, PL/SQL application development background.  You will l collaborate proactively with functional users and analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions, and possess a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support to this global application.

 

We are seeking someone with the following skills and qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc.) in Engineering or Computer Science

Master's Degree (MS, MBA, JD, etc.) in Computer Science or equivalent a plus

3-5 years of Java/J2EE, Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite development experience

3-5 years of BEA WebLogic J2EE Application server platform experience is preferred

2-3 years relevant work experience with Oracle Financials, Order to Cash and Procure to Pay business processes is preferred

Experience with Apache Ant, and other Apache Jakarta common libraries is preferred

Familiarity with Inversion of Control (IoC) and Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) and frameworks

Experience with version control systems, preferably CVS

Knowledge of Functional and/or Automated Testing methods/tools like JUnit and JMeter

Knowledge of the Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL

Provide quality assurance checkpoints related to tiered development including object/model design, Java/J2EE, JSP and SQL code reviews
